Ron Gee founded Network Architects, a professional services company, in 1991. He draws on over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, datacommunications, and IP internetworking.

Today the company is operating as Archnet Incorporated specifically addressing the network management challenges of small and mid-sized companies; delivering the levels of service common in the investment banking business, to all Archnet clients. Ron plays a key leadership role as founder and President of Archnet.

In addition to Archnet Incorporated, Ron has had progressively more challenging technical and executive roles in Montgomery Securities/TriStar Market Data, Pacific Bell, and Bell Communications Research.

Ron was General Manager of Network Engineering and Operations at TriStar Market Data; the market data division of Montgomery Securities, the largest investment bank on the West Coast, serving customers such as the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, JP Morgan, the Pacific Stock Exchange, the Chicago Board of Trade, and many many other trading floor operations and venture capital firms.

Prior to TSMD/Montgomery Securities, Ron was the Manager of Network Planning and Design for the Information Services Group at Pacific Bell. During his tenure, he designed the first large scale IP network at Pacific Bell and personally installed the first Cisco enterprise routers and the first SNMP network management system for Pacific Bell - a network that is still in production use.

Ron gained additional experience as Engineering Manager at Pacific Bell Technology Laboratories, and as Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Communications Research working on the pioneering technologies behind ISDN, frame-relay, and DSL.

Ron received a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from California State University at Sacramento. Ron also hold certifications in Advanced Systems Administration from Sun Microsystems, and Advanced Router Configuration and Network Management from Cisco Systems. Ron also holds a diploma in Advanced Telecommunications through a 2 year Technology Internship Program at Bellcore.
